Granddaddy Purple is an indica-dominant plant bred by crossing Purple Urkle and Big Bud. Granddaddy Purple plants, while being medium-sized, are big and bushy with high yields of purple-tinted buds. An easy to grow strain.

Suitable for cultivation indoors, outdoors and in a greenhouse where there is good ventilation, Granddaddy Purple is suitable for growers at all levels. Indoor flowering takes between 8 – 10 weeks with yields of up to 500gr/m2. Outdoors in the northern hemisphere plants should be ready for harvest in early October with each plant capable of yielding as much as 600gr. Outdoors plants will reacxh a height of 150cm or thereabouts while those grown indoors will be a bit shorter at approx. 120cm.

The terpene profile displays sweet, fruity notes of blueberry and candy with pine undertones. THC production is around 20% while CBD is low at less than 1%. The effect is powerfully relaxing, very much in the body, but also uplifting ina cerebral sense. A great evening and night-time strain.
